Western modernity along with globalization have given birth to a technical culture, one that doesn't know barriers and tends to transform the world into one big village with a culture armed with “means and functionalities that are capable of crossing closed doors and reaching remote places; a culture that cannot be stopped neither by frontiers nor by protective walls” We live in a fast-moving world that has come to see an unprecedented technological and communicational revolution after the writing and the industrial revolutions that gave us numerous means of communication; it has contributed to the emergence of a new technological knowledge and new streams of creativity: interactive literature is one of the juicy fruits of this revolution.

The aim of this study would be, for starter, to understand this new genre of literature “that joins literariness and electronics, and which one cannot have access to without an electronic medium, i.

We will also focus on what this marriage between technology and literature has given birth to in terms of new notions and concepts and the way today's reader is supposed to deal with in a visual technological environment”.

We will try to understand the relationship that holds between the Arab culture and this new literary genre: starting with the chaos of terminology and the problem of reception in the Arab culture which has to deal with this transformation that “invaded the scene of art through the introduction of the computer in the literary creation, hence modifying its relational system from three elements (writer, text, reader) to four (writer, computer, text, reader).

Further, we will discuss a couple of questions among which the most important are: - Did the Arab culture interact with the interactive literature? - Do we have the right to criticize what we haven't practiced, or are our notions unable to compete with the notions that come to us from the Other? We will try to discuss and explain these issues in this paper.
