Abstract AR
السرقات العلمية من الآفات التي ابتلت بها الجامعات والأوساط العلمية منذ نشوء العلم الحديث ازدادت انتشارا بانتشار استعمال الانترنت.
و السرقات العلمية او السرقات الأدبية على حد سواء هي سرقات فكرية، و انتهاك لحقوق الملكية الفكرية للآخرين، تعرفها موسوعة الويكيبيديا العربية بانها "إدعاء شخص صراحة أو ضمنيا بكتابة ما كتبه آخر أو النقل مما كتبه آخرون كليا أو جزئيا بدون عزو أو اعتراف مناسب؛ أي باختصار العزو المزور أو إعطاء الانطباع بأنك كتبت ما كتبه غيرك".
تعتمد السرقات العلمية على النسخ و اللصق و على ترجمة النواتج العلمية المنشورة في العالم باللغات الاجنبية دون الاشارة الى المصدر.
