The socio-historical configurationof the Maghreb and Middle-East, the product of the various structural transformations,lead us to ask the question of the role and the functions of the sociological science.

The sociological science , as an empirical activity of questioning of the constitution and functioning of the modern socio-temporal matrix, has many real effects on that socio-temporal matrix through the scientific products, sociology reveal and unveil the different social logics and consequently give instruments of domination and exert an uncovering effect of the hidden.
