Abstract EN

The aims of this research is to study the impact of economic growth rate on Poverty rate in Algeria during the period 1970-2017, while trying to build a econometry mode form of poverty as a dependent variable expressed in the Average Individual Consumption and economic growth as the independent variable is expressed as the Gross Domestic Product, and the study concluded To the existence of a long-term relationship between poverty and economic growth, the increase of Gross Domestic Product in Algeria leads to increase in average Individual consumption which is reflected on the Poverty rate decreases.
