Literature in general and narration in particular turned to the realms of the popular heritage Because of its richness and its diversity in the Algerian culture, it was obviously present in the narrative writings both in a novel and story.

But to what extent was that presented? What are its forms and what is its level? What did it add to the narrative creative achievement.

This article tries to answer a lot of questions through a novel by Muhammed Miflah and a collection of stories by Hussein Fillali.
