he concept of Islamic art is a critical saying that many have tried to stand at its idiomatic connotations and its problematic references, its conceptual foundations and statements.

Scholars have disagreed on the issue of the scientific term, considering that it is a dedication to ideological loads that embody the principle of classification, while some saw the term as a reference to the human dimension that is above the clutches.

Narrow affiliations.

Between acceptance and rejection, questions of the concept and the reference found for it arise.

What is Islamic art? What are the cognitive and philosophical foundations on which it is based? Through this research paper, we will try to answer this problem, reviewing the most important critical debates about the term, as well as the foundational attempts for it as a concept and direction.
