The development of Algerian plastic art has passed through several stations, especially the art of photography, this is mainly due to the succession of civilizations and the expansion of the geographical area, in addition to the location of Algérie, which links Africa with Europe.

Algerian art has been influenced by many civilizations, starting with the Islamic civilization through French colonization, which allowed European artists to enter Algeria in the name of orientalism.

Its purpose is to transfer the social and cultural life of Algeria through photography.

In this way, the Algerian plastic art was launched as a well-established academy derived from Western academies.
