Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the reality of education in Algeria and its role in achieving sustainable development, as one of its main pillars and of its most important global goals (SDG4), which Algeria seeks to achieve like other countries.

Depending on the descriptive analytical approach, we tried to answer the problematic: What is the reality of education and its role in achieving sustainable development in Algeria? It was concluded that Algeria had made many efforts and was able to achieve the goals of universal education and enrollment rates, especially for women and girls.

However, it's still lagging behind in terms of high-quality education.

Which confirms the need to develop the Algerian education system in line with achieving the SDGs.
