Abstract EN

In everyday and in everywhere, awesome and horrific statistics were recorded in safety and occupational health accidents, as well as the consequences, although the organizations use standards in this regard, including mainly OHSAS 18001.

Hence, the international need was appeared to match the safety and health system managements to an international standard, and subsequently the World Organization for Standardization has issued ISO 45001.

Thus, the present paper was aimed to screen the differences in the current standard structure OHSAS 18001and the new structure ISO 45001, providing an insight in preparing the works related to publishing this standard.

The study has led us to understand that the identification ISO 45001: 2018 of the health and the occupational safety works creatively and proactively to prevent occurring accidents.
