Abstract EN

The practical problem that has caught the attention of those interested in the field of Islamic economics is the decline in the quality of scientific researches in this field, despite the quantitative increase in number of researches.

Undoubtedly, this is an extremely important phenomenon that requires a conscious and determined effort to stop it and to change its direction.

The scientific problem of this paper is to investigate into the aforementioned issue, and to discuss its causes through a set of notes that provide partial explanations.

These notes are divided into the components of scientific research: the researcher, the research methodology, and the research topic.

Together, these notes represent the basic hypothesis of this paper.

The paper concludes that the awareness and the adoption of these notes will establish a base for enhancing and upgrading the quality of scientific researches in the field of Islamic economics
