Abstract EN

Microfinance helps to establish small institutions by supporting small projects that are the start of growth in all areas, the most important of which is economic, thus launching work to achieve economic development by providing jobs and work to eliminate unemployment and advance development, especially in developing countries.

Therefore, the study aimed to know the contribution of microfinance to economic development through studying both the Sudan experience in the microfinance industry, the experience of Morocco and the experience of Grameen Bank, and we also studied the reality of microfinance in Algeria and the most important obstacles facing it.

Accordingly, the study found that this experiment was successful in Sudan, Morocco and Bangladesh, but it suffers from several obstacles in Algeria.
