This theoretical study aims to highlight the role of sports in the development of individuals.

With the development of sports, the emergence of international super stars (both in team and individual sports) in addition to the increased number of practitioners and followers around the world, the relationship between sports and economy has become correlative because sports have basically turned into an economic transaction; through investments and marketing.

Many world's major countries have relied on these activities for many years and have transformed the sports field into a real industry that brings them great profits.

So, we decided to make this research to highlight the role of sports in the development of individuals, through reviewing investment and marketing processes and figuring out their benefits to contribute to the human development.
