The Renewable energies are among the investment alternatives in place to achieve sustainable development as they are not polluting the environment, which allows to secure and diversify energy sources, especially in light of the increasing consumption of depleted fossil energies and harmful to the environment, and contribute to preserving the future of future generations, which is directly reflected in achieving Sustainable development, which necessitated Algeria to invest in renewable energies in order to take advantage of the great potential that it has.

Accordingly, this research paper aims to shed light on the reasons for investing in renewable energies and global investment opportunities in them, with reference to the Algerian experience in investing in renewable energies and its role in achieving sustainable development, as the study found weak investment in renewable energies in Algeria due to the availability of fossil energies as well as difficulties Investing in it.
