The Takaful insurance industry witnessed remarkable developments in the last few years and achieved insurance products in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic Shariah, which does not prevent the existence of significant challenges faced by this industry despite the efforts exerted in the revival of Islamic financial institutions and activating them in modern financial systems, Through this study we tried to address the various concepts related to takaful insurance.

We examined the reality of takaful insurance in Algeria by studying the case of Salama Insurance Company, Algeria as the only insurance company that operates according to the principles of Islam and addressing the most important challenges facing it.
