Abstract EN

The contribution of this research paper is to investigate the effect of Perceived Risk (Functional risk, Psychological risk, Social risk, Financial, Time, and Physical risk) on the decision of choosing the local tourist destination, in which a sample consists of (324) Algerian tourists.

The data were analyzed and the hypotheses tested using the statistical software for social sciences SPSS V.

The study found that Functional risk is the most influencing on the visit to the local tourist destination decision, followed by the Financial risk and the Physical risk.
