Abstract EN

The third sector is a main component of any economy.Its importance lies in its ability to attain the social objectives of the sustainable development,while lowering the burden of the state’social obligations.Thus, its mediation to shorten the gap between the social needs versus the resources,facing the governmental deficiency in the provision of services and goods to cover these needs, is a necessity.Therefore,this research tackles the importance of this sector practically, by studying the philanthropic experience in the developed economies and analyzing its outcome, which helps developing a perception about the appropriate third sector model to apply in any country.
