Abstract EN

In this paper, the researcher discussed the experience of the Islamic movement rule in Sudan under the leadership of Dr.

Hassan Abdullah Al-Turabi as the godfather of the idea and Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir as the leader of the authority, it is the experience that has had the longest time to stay on the head of power in Sudan since its independence on the first of January 1956, and the most influential on the social, political, economic and security life in Sudanese society.

The paper also examined the conditions that prepared the way for the Islamic movement to reach the power, and the positions of Dr.

Hassan Abdullah Al-Turabi as a prominent figure who played an important role in the movement path.

In addition to the intellectual influences and practical dilemmas that it faced, and the internal disagreements and failures.

Finally, the researcher has recounted with the positive aspects of the experiment of the Islamic rule in Sudan.
