Abstract EN

The process of recycling waste in the stages of the cyclical economy is to move towards sustainable development.

It provides important economic resources as well as reducing the negative effects on the environment and health, reducing the high costs of waste treatment and creating green jobs.

This paper aims to shed light on the Algerian concepts and laws concerning recycling and highlight the achievements achieved in this field.

We have conducted a field study of some institutions active in the process of waste recovery in the state of Tiaret to find out the reality of waste recycling in our country, where we have been twice the proportion of waste recycling compared to the richness of Algeria of the estimated amount of recoverable materials and qualifications for the development of this area
