Abstract EN

Social security reforms in Algeria were embodied in three main axes: 1) Modernizing the social security system through the introduction of electronic Chifaa card system; 2) Improving the services provided to socially insured persons by reviewing the legal arsenal of the social insurance system and activating the system 3) Reforming the financial aspect of the social security institutions through the creation of some additional sources of funding on the one hand and the establishment of the National Fund for the collection of social security contributions in Algeria on the other hand.

Through this paper, we attempted to analyze the impact of these reforms on the financial balance of the social security sector by dropping the National Fund for Social Insurance for Workers
