Abstract EN
In this study, we put forward the idea of the watchmaker analogy, which is among the wrong perceptions related to knowing God.
This idea is a philosophical deduction by empirical scientists, instigated by Newton's mechanics and laws.
The idea has come from an analogical reasoning that cannot be logically relied upon, as it is useless and inconclusive.
In light of the role the theory of the watchmaker analogy had in founding the theory of the God of the Gaps, we discussed this theory and evaluated it after considering the characteristics of the God of the Gaps.
We then proved that the God of the Gaps is no more than an assumption that does not describe natural phenomena to man.
It can therefore be done without after obtaining a suitable descriptive assumption of natural phenomena concerning the gaps.
This god is a justification of the unknown truths about some natural phenomena, and after the advancement of science and acquiring another proper assumption, this god will withdraw more and more.
