Abstract EN
Comics is a visual art (Still and motion pictures) it seeks to provide a visual message that stores in its construction a set of signs and concepts to become an interactive communication tool with high impact knowledge and information in expressing the idea, especially if it's used in new creative formations to develop visual communication in the Beneficiary mind.
The problem of research consists of the main questions (what is the problem with the concept of comics? ) what is the nature of the relationship between the comics and the knowledge of the information in the information institutions, and the answer to the questions is a set of questions related to the analytical and field aspects.
The research aims: 1.
The first objective: to recognize the concept of comics? And its types? And ways of investing in providing service in information institutions.1.
The second objective: To identify the extent of access to services of information institutions and the significance of statistical differences in the sample of the researcher.
Research assumes: 1.
The first hypothesis: There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) the extent of knowledge of the beneficiaries about the comic's term.2.
The second hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) the extent of access to the information institutions services by the sample of the study: 2.
The third hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) in the extent of access to to the information institutions services according to the variables in the specialization (scientific / human) by the sample of the study.
Research Methodology: Using the Survey Methodology to collect data and information for the relationship between comics and the process of understanding the beneficiaries the art of comics, through the use of the questionnaire tool.
The study population and sample: is the category of beneficiaries of the university information institutions, and its sample (387) beneficiaries.
The study was used to analyze the data and detect the statistical differences.
A set of methods; Adopting the statistical method in data processing and analysis using percentage; Likert Scale, Chi square test; for weights, and t-testResults of the research: 1.
Comics Interactive visual art finds to help users to understand the information in a short time compared to texts, by providing a clear visual vision and an interactive function if employed in a manner appropriate to the idea.2.
Implementation of models of static and mobile comics to provide information services in information institution.
Recommendations: the most important of a set of recommendations, which are: 1.
The need to employ "the art of comics" in the analysis of information and representation, and clarify the complex concepts, and represent the methods of using advanced software, to raise the level of awareness and understanding and orption of information among beneficiaries in information institutions.2.
The structural and pedagogical levels should be considered to improve the cognitive process of the beneficiaries.3.
Produce and market a range of services in the "still or motion" comics style and provide service to the users, more interesting and interactive.
