The examination is a central process that falls within the functions of the psychologist, and adherence to ethics is a prerequisite for establishing its credibility, which is manifested through the control of diagnosis, good selection and effectiveness of the methods of care and therefore pre-controlled treatment.

However, the experience presented here with this situation clearly reflects the imbalance that has affected the controls of the screening process and has negatively impacted the future of psychotherapy.

The result was a complexity of the disorder and the difficulty of dealing with its source, as the child's psychological suffering intensified and the duration of treatment extended.

In this intervention, we try to shed light on the ethics of psychological practice in the Algerian environment and to bring it down to reality through a clinical card for the case of a child who was traumatized early in her life.
