Abstract EN

This study intends to identify scientific journals in the field of medical sciences issued by Baghdad provinces universities، and the extent use them for international standards for publication in scientific journals.

The study comes out with the following findings: .1The Iraqi Journal of Medical Sciences has achieved 100% of the standard of providing online journals and meets all the requirements of this standard.

while the Journal of the Faculty of Medicine and AL-Kindy College Medical Journal have achieved 80% of this standard.2.

Other journals have not achieved any proportion of the standard and still acceded with the university's website.

The study recommends the following: There is an urgent need for Iraqi journals to subscribe to the global depositories such as Elsevier, Thomson Reuters, Scopus، etc.
