Abstract EN

Terrorism is a scourge haunting the Muslim communities, and attempts to abuse the tolerant Sharia of Islam with every type of terror, cruelty and savageness.

In my study titled “Terrorism and Islam's Attitude towards it- an analytical study”, I dealt with the subject in three chapters; each divided into two sections.

In the first chapter, I discussed the term “terrorism”, its synonyms, concerns, causes of terrorism, and the attitude of Islam towards it.

In the second chapter, I discussed the methods adopted by terrorists in order to achieve their goals, with an account on the Islamic Sharia, how it meets the social requirements of our modern age, and how it refutes the pretexts of terrorists.

The third chapter states the appropriate approach for combating terrorism, on one hand; and on the other hand, it proposes the best remedy for the ideas that lead to terrorism.

The study was ended by stating the most significant results.
