Britain has seen the light of liberal life since 1688.

At that time, Britain laid parliamentary democracy foundations that undertook to legislate the necessary laws and provisions to build and protect the state, and also to support the executive authorities in emergency situations and external threats, in a way that guarantees Britain's interests primarily and preserve the principle of International balance; a principle that Britain continued to follow for some time.

From this standpoint, the British House of Commons assumed responsibility equally with the executive government, especially before and during the Second World War and the crises that led to it, at the forefront of which was the Munich Agreement signed in 1938 in the presence of four major European countries, Britain, France, Italy and Germany.

According to this agreement, Czechoslovakia ceded the Nurit Territory to Germany, the British Prime Minister Chamberlain managed those difficult and arduous negotiations, which he led with the blessing of the British House of Commons.

Here lies the importance of the issue, the political and military circumstances were extremely difficult, and cannot be overcome without making great concessions to Germany, whose leader Hitler insisted on using military force to protect German minorities, a case that the British Prime Minister understood and analyzed the results thereof that inevitably led to war.

Therefore, his efforts concentrated mainly on the maintenance of world peace and security, with direct support from the British House of Commons who highly assessed the dangers of German greed and warned the world against being dragged into a global war.

This urged the British House of Commons and its government to preserve the European peace.
