All critics agree that rhythm as an aspect is typically related to poetry.

Though rhythm is very strongly apparent in poetry, still it is in prose.

Rhythm is a very essential element in prose structure and it is an aspect of its literary form.

The classical Arab critics did consider rhythm not as an additional element in prose that could be excluded.

Therefore, they sighted all rhetorical components; linguistic and conceptual.

They also determined the characteristics of linguistic and concepetual appropriateness in rhetorical devices structuring the rhythm of a prosodic text.

The following article is an analysis of their points of view; both at the theoretical and the practical level.
