The research goal to(define effectiveness of the guided imagery strategyin developing artistic expression (painting) of primary school pupils).

To achieve the goal of the research, the tow researcher put This hypothes: ( There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pupils in both experimental and control groups on the post skillful test of artistic expression in the painting) The research community consisted of (550) primaryschools.

The number of pupils at fifth grade are (74342)reported as (40046)male and(34296) female.

The tow researcher in a simple random way chosen the total pupils are (80) of (40) pupils to each group.

The researcher used the equation of Cronbach's Alpha to verify proving tests of artistic expression in the drawing.

The tow researcher used the T test for two independent samples (t, test) for Equivalence according to per- skillful test of artistic expression in painting, and To verify the hypothesis of research, the post skillful test of artistic expression in the painting.

The main results of the research: There are statistically significant differences between the average grade of the experimental group that has been studied according to the guided imagery strategy and the average grade of the control group, has been studied according to the usual method.

And the direction of this difference was in favor of the experimental group by its overcome the control group on the post skillful test of artistic expressionin drawing.

In the light of research results, the tow researcher made a number of recommendations: 1 - Experience and knowledge should be provided according to the characteristics of the artistic expressionstages and imagination stages of pupils.2 - Method of learning should be diversified when using the guided imagery strategy.3 - Experienceand knowledge should be providedas a form of questions to motivate the pupil to imagine solutions to these questions for developing the creative side.

The tow researcher also suggested a number of proposals: 1 - Using visual imagination strategy of the model (Abigail Housen) in the criticism and analysis of fourth stage pupils at the Department of Artistic Education.

2 - Comparative study to detect the effectiveness of the guided imagery strategyto have mental images of the pupils'sculptures of the stages of visual perception and adolescence under the classification of the artistic expressionby Lowenfield.
