In this paper, we refer to the obstacles that engineers face during their search for work, through the insertion process in which multiple factors overlap, including those related to socialization, training, employment strategy, and individual strategies.

this was done through a qualitative investigation based on interviews conducted with a group of unemployed young engineering graduates in the city of Oran.

the study revealed to us that the different processes experienced by young unemployed people indicate the ineffectiveness of the factors and strategies of successful socioprofessional insertion.
