The research aims to identify the current (social shyness among students of colleges of education / University of Anbar and its relationship with some ariables); according to the variables of a course of study and the stage,The sample consisted of (216)female students from the two phases (first and fourth) of the Faculties of Education,Science and Education, Pure Science / Humanities Anbar University.

The researchers prepared a measure of shame social be from (20) paragraph of the five alternatives (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never), has been verified sincerity virtual submitting it to the group of arbitrators, and the sincerity of construction by finding the relationship of each paragraph of the measure primarily overall scale, was a way to extract consistency Cronbach alpha was reached (0.86), and after application of the scale on the research sample results showed: * Owning students of colleges of education in general characteristic shyness.

* There is no statistically significant difference in the level of social shyness among students of colleges of education in accordance with the variable course of study (scientific, humane).

* There is a statistically significant difference in the level of social shyness among students of colleges of education in accordance with the variable grade (first and fourth), in favor of the first phase.
