Abstract EN

The phonetic lesson at the Arab scientists started with the morphological phonetic method of Al-Khall Al-Farahedi in his vocabulary book “ AL-AIN” , Sebawaih’s diphthong phenomenon, Ibn-Jiny’s morphological matters, Ibn-Sena’s how and why the letters are roduced , and the scientists of intonation , was known as the melody.

The phonetic differences are also connected with the apparent and special phonetics of Arabic , and the criteria that generate the phonetic differences that could be recognized only with the meeting of the the sounds with corresponding prosperities , and the contrastive adjectives such as ( voiced : voiceless ) ( stress : looseness ) , ( closure : openness ) , ( emphasis : weakening ) .

Al-Farahidi used the phonetic criterion : ( physical member ) in classifying the courses of the Arabic sounds .

The modern phoneticians used the comparative phonological criterion in the study of ( the phonetic difference ) on the Arabs’ language or ( the phoneme ) or ( the distinct features ) of Arabs’ language .
