In this research, which is entitled: Methods of the hadith imams in the reasoning against the opposition of wasl and arsal through: “Explanation of the ills of al-Tirmidhi by Ibn Rajab, ” one of the most important types of faults that fall into the chain of transmission, namely: the reasons for wiring and arsal and the methods of the imams in giving preference between them through: Explanation of Al-Tirmidhi's ills by Ibn Rajab, “We can only get to know them by an applied study on some of the chains of transmission that Ibn Rajab was exposed to in his book, and we intended through this study: Determining the features of the imams' approaches to dealing with the causes of wiring and transmission, and the presumptions of weighting between them.

In order to know these clues and preferences, our study was as follows: First: By defining the wasl and ersal from the books of the hadith terminology, then we explained the relationship of wisl and ersal to the ills.

Second: We studied models of preferring the transmission over the transmission when there is conflict, and another of the weighting of the transmission over the link, through the books of Ibn Rajab.

Through the words of Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab in explaining the ills or other of his books, it becomes clear to us that the reasoning with the transmission and the transmission and the preference of one over the other is due to the evidence in every narration and hadith as shown by the examples in the research, and the imams do not always give preference to transmission or transmission always, but rather their preference It is based on the evidence that exists in each novel alone
