Most African countries suffer from poverty, and in many cases extreme poverty.

This position affects directly African people and African societies too, until international community.

And if development process is the basic means to eradicate poverty and underdevelopment, and in order to be effective.

It must be geared towards the African human being, and should be done by him and for him.

African countries should get away from these misleading developmental paths, which are based on scarifying human rights allegedly for achieving development.

It should also realize that the human being is the axis of the inclusive, effective and rational development process.

And that any development process that does not properly respect human rights, will be doomed to failure.

Therefore, harmonizing poverty, development and human rights, even when they formed a real challenge to the governance of development in Africa, is not only possible but it is required and needed.

And would be achieved by the necessity of adopting an African development approach based on governance and respect for human rights, in order to achieve sustainable African development governance for the African and the African human being.
