Influence of the context presumption in Ibn Attiyah's grammatical views in his interpretation of the Holy Qur'an)This research focuses on the presumption of context and its impact on the grammatical views of the (mufassir) Ibn Attiyah contained in his (tafsīr) of the Holy Quran, and the research has concluded to consider context as an original method in the analysis of meaning in Arabic, which has been widely used by the (mufassir) to explain the meanings of the verses.

Ibn Attiyah was clearly influenced by this presumption in his various grammatical points of view.

Linguistic and Quranic contexts remain the most influential in guiding meaning as they accompany it in various details, especially if the (mufassir) omitted the (Isrā'īlīyāt), which represent a large part of non-linguistic contexts.
