Abstract EN

This research studies the keeping and selling of animals in Islamic jurisprudence and Algerian law, and it aims to explain the rulings on keeping and selling animals in Islamic jurisprudence, and to explain the reasons that allow animal keeping, and explaining cases of prohibition.

one of the most important results of the study is that sharia Islamic permits the keeping of animals, which there is a benefit in raising them.

such as animals those that benefit from food, warmth, and lifting, riding, and ornamental, and Algerian law allows that as well.

just as the animals that are permissible to keeping; are considered among the responsibilities of their keepers, and there are animals that may not be raised.

as for the ruling on selling animals, it usually depends on the ruling on keeping them and using them, except in some special cases.
