The eight Arab monarchies were exceptionally able to adapt with the wave of change that occurred in 2011 compared to the republican regimes.

Actually, the demands were not radical, and the outcomes were varied.

In general, it expressed a special model of control that takes into account the nature of the cultural, economic and political field in each society.

It is true that the harmony of Arab monarchies with religious and tribal values of Arab culture has reduced the wave of revolutions.

However, the ence of revolutions does not necessarily mean the legitimacy of the regime because all regimes are legitimate until the day they collapse.

Due to their geostrategic location and natural resources, Arab monarchies have been able to adapt well, while they seek to help, militarily and economically, the poor monarchies such as Bahrain, Oman and Morocco in order to maintain the regional security.
