Abstract EN

Objectives: This study seeks to examine whether or not the legal text can guarantee roles for Algerian civil society that would activate public policies.

We assume through this study that the role of the legal text is diminished compared to the cultural model, which is disabled to effective participation in the policy-making process.

Methodology: This study is conducted by using legal approach and documentary analysis to consider the content of legal texts that will make the roles of civil society more effective, as well as on the comparative approach by comparing the context of the legal texts managing civil society and associations work, and trade unions in Algeria and by relying on participation as an ideal unit for comparing different context.
