Abstract EN

This study aims to present a proposed perception to contribute to the development of Algerian University's role in the field of public service in the light of international standards to ensure the quality of higher education.

The latter has become a necessary requirement to enable Algeria's higher education institutions to face challenges, keep pace with scientific and technological developments, and contribute to the progress and development of society.

In order to identify the role of the Algerian University in this field, the study's question focused on the success extent of Algeria's higher education institutions in activating quality assurance, reconciling the requirements of the public service, and reaching various international rankings.

In particular, one of the most significant results of this study is that the Algerian University may suffer from a range of obstacles concerning planning and setting objectives that limit its ability to achieve the quality of higher education.
