Abstract EN

International standards state that violence against women is a form of discrimination, and therefore states are urged to take the necessary measures to prevent, investigate and punish acts of violence against women, whether they are committed by the state or by another non-state party.

Therefore, it is necessary to follow up and study the most important obstacles that stand in the way of an impenetrable barrier to denying women their rights, enjoying their dignity, and removing all obstacles that disturb their lives.

This is what the research tries to present by knowing the most important causes that lead to violence against women, identifying the forms and images of violence practiced against them, as well as reaching the most important strategies that should be followed to ensure a stimulating environment that prevents access to and abuse of women, relying on Algerian laws as a model.
