This study aims to determine the nature of the shock of the Covid 19 pandemic on the supply side in Algeria, while diagnosing the most important effects associated with it on the supply side, by analyzing the statistical data for the results of the first half of the year 2020, and the study concluded that the supply shock that occurred The pandemic was negative as a result of declining growth rates and temporary due to low inflation rates with less panic caused by the pandemic and mitigation of measures to reduce it, and supply shocks related to external factors such as the oil sector are more vague than internal shocks related to factors that can be controlled through public policies
