In this study, the spotlight was shed on knowledge of the legal protection devoted to cultural heritage in Algerian legislation through a set of national legal texts, and this is similar to Law No.

98/04 relating to the protection of cultural heritage, as it is one of the nation's acquisitions, and the link between its present and its past.

We have included with explanations the conceptual framework of cultural heritage and the rooting of its legal nature as it represents public money, and finally the mention of the national legal and institutional protection mechanisms that ensure the strengthening of its protection.
