Abstract EN

This study aims at highlighting the renewable energy sector in Algeria.

And activating the role of renewable energy in meeting the growing needs of energy demand at present and in the future.

The Algerian government has given great attention to this sector because of the positive implications on economic and social development and the environment in light of the availability of Algeria to the potential of large sources of renewable energy, especially solar energy, and the local government has developed financial possibilities and plans to establish local projects and investments to exploit these renewable energy, but these projets and plans faced many constraints that hindered the development of this sector.
