In the terms of peace and war, all the scientific parts of International Relations become subordinate to the outputs of the international politics and in some ways to the world politics, in this regard, Area Studies become an exceptional case adopts the most important discussions between the binaries of geography and civilization, international and global, and finally geopolitic and globalization.

This paper discusses the reproduction of Area Studies under the new arrangments of international politics, in wich we use the new debates about regions to provide an explanation and a deeper picture about the new challenges of Area Studies in a mutated international environment, that was founded by the Cold War and it was revived by the various stages of hegemony and its interactions.

In three points this article develops three main purposes, which is mainly launched from the application of theoretical discussions in international relations; to reach a conclusion on the difference between area and regional studies from the depth anthology of the international relations, this provides an understanding image to area studies in the face of confrontation between regional patterns and international hegemony, all this through the decisive roles of geopolitics.
