This research paper analyzes the economic and political conditions for activating the groupings of African integration and improving the reality of Africa.

After identifying the shortcomings and imbalances that marred the complementary experiences in Africa, and caused their failure, this paper presents, through the political economy approach, a set of political and economic measures and arrangements that African countries must take into account and commit to implementing them, in order to achieve the necessary political and economic reforms, and Therefore, African countries will be able to reactivate their complementary experiences on solid foundations, improve their situation, and achieve their interests.
