The summary of the article: Aspects of social and economical life of women in the West of Islamic world during Middle Age (Almoravid era model( History of mentalities field has become one of the fields that receives overwhelming consideration by history researchers, middle age in particular.

By looking at plenty of ambiguity during this period, and women's issue that is one of the issues that requires further researching and deepening, historical sources has not documented women fairly enough.

Considering that period was strongly ruled by religious ideology, the negative perspective that was devoted by doctrinal perception of women was reflected in lots of topics.

We are unable of recognizing the role of a woman unless we recognize her role inside the whole society, also jurists and social opinions about her.

It is very obvious that a family is minimized picture of the society.

So it was built, like the rest of other foundations, on hierarchical system governed by power and influence which the head of the family represents, except for some Zirid tribes which a wife monopolized an olute power because of her economical position.

The circumstances of a group of women has made them step outside of their home and search for job to meet their needs.

A category of women working different jobs has emerged whether in the Maghreb or in Andalusia also this jobs could in rural or urban.

This article addresses the issue of “the nature of women presence in social and economical life during the Almoravid era”.

Then, highlighting these aspects through three elements: first, public and jurisprudence perception of women.

Second, the position of women socially and economically, also how Maghrebian and Andalusian women contribute in social life.

Third, urban and rural working women in Andalusia and the extreme Maghreb (Morocco).

And why do we neglect the scientific contribution of Maghrebian and Andalusian women.
