The relationship of the mountains to the experiences of rule, expansion and foreign conquest throughout the history of the countries of the Middle Maghreb, was characterized by a close connection, considering the mountains as one of the most widespread terrain features in it Tribes, authority and armies must adapt to it.

Hence, we can present our problem: Was the mountain a factor of strength, building and fortification in the area of the Middle Maghreb, or was it a cause of social and cultural isolation? .
