Otherness, culture and comparativism, three notions forming a dialectic serving as the basis for many studies dealing in particular with questions of friction and human contact at varying scales ranging from intercultural issues inherent in large community groups, to the most limited experience of otherness of the ego grappling with the Other within a couple.
This reflection addresses the question of the possibilities of theoretical and practical use of the association of 03 concepts: Otherness, culture and comparativism, within the framework of the thematization of the encounter with the other.
In what way do meeting, cohabitation with the other, thinking about oneself and about the world constitute happy or unhappy intercultural experiences and otherness? Hence the dual objective of our reflection, which is to question human relationships, on two scales: general and reduced.
All through the filter of the triad: comparativism, culture.
Otherness.
The intercultural or interpersonal “shock” that follows is sometimes externalized, sometimes intimate and internalized: the triad thus having this capacity to juggle on several axes, therefore constitutes an effective analytical tool that can deal with and answer questions.

Altérité, culture et comparatisme, trois notions formant une dialectique servant de soubassement à de nombreuses études traitant notamment des questions de frottement et de contact humain à des échelles variables allant des problématiques interculturelles inhérentes aux grands ensembles communautaires, jusqu'à la plus infirme expérience d'altérité du Moi aux prises avec l'Autre au sein d'un couple.
La présente réflexion aborde la question des possibilités d'emploi théorique et pratique de l'association de 03 notions: Altérité, culture et comparatisme, dans le cadre de la thématisation de la rencontre avec l'Autre.
De quelle manière la rencontre, la cohabitation avec l'autre, la pensée sur soi-même et sur le monde constituent-elles des expériences interculturelles et d'altérité heureuses ou malheureuses? D'où l'objectif double de notre réflexion qui est de questionner les rapports humains, sur deux échelles: générale et réduite.
Le tout au travers du filtre de la triade: comparatisme, culture.
Altérité.
Le « choc » interculturel ou interpersonnel, qui s'en suit, est tantôt extériorisé, tantôt intimiste et intériorisé: la triade ayant ainsi cette capacité de jongler sur plusieurs axes, constitue donc un outil d'analyse efficace pouvant traiter et répondre à des questions d'actualité très brulantes et communes de notre époque.
