Abstract EN

The theme of organizational culture is of great concern، considering that the culture of the organization is one of the main determinants of the success or failure of organizations.

It plays an important role in organizational change and development، which is characteristic of modern times.

This research focuses on a study of the relationship between organizational culture and strategy formulation in a number of civil colleges in Iraq.

The main problem is that most universities and private colleges did not benefit from the organizational culture of their teaching staff when formulating the strategy.

The aim of the research is to define the importance of organizational culture by its virtual and physical orientation and its cultural fabric and to formulate the strategy in the universities and colleges concerned as important variables in the management of university organizations.

The research started from the hypothesis" that there is no significant relationship between the organizational culture and the formulation of the strategy"، The research included a sample of (100) teachingin(10)universities and private colleges.

In order to achieve the objectives of the research، a questionnaire was prepared and conducted on the basis of honesty and consistency، and then distributed to the research sample.

The researcher concludes that there is a relative interest in the universities and colleges in the educational culture in the educational society and not to play an important role in formulating the strategy.

To invest the two virtual and essential cultures among the teachers in the universities and the private colleges and to transform them by motivating them to develop a distinctive cultural fabric that contributes to showing their mental and intellectual abilities and their experiences through dialogue and direct training.
