Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the reality of organizational silence, in the light of the views of the Algerian oil companies cadres.

To know their views towards organizational silence in its three dimensions (compliant silence, defensive silence and social silence) of the National Corporation subordinates for Works in Hassi Messaoud Wells.

This research was applied on 148 participants, who were chosen by simple random method.

The following fundamental question was raised: Do the workers of the Algerian petroleum companies practice organizational silence, according to the opinion of the organizationcadres under the study? A set of hypotheses were put forward.

In addition, theapproach descriptive and the questionnaire were used as a basic tool; The results of the research concluded that there is a relative or moderate agreement on the organizational silence practicing by the workers of the Algerian petroleum companies.

According to the institutioncadres opinion, the most important suggestions are: The necessity of educating Algerian company executives about the concept of organizational silence, its causes, demonstrations and its effects on the industrial work environment.

The adoption of the proposals submitted by workers to select the optimal solution to the problems presented to take effective organizational decisions; Reaching to crystallize a participatory atmosphere and prepare a secure system to receive those views.

To encourage constructive dialogue and debate to reduce organizational silence and activate the organizational Voice.
