Algeria is witnessing today many political and economic developments since the "Hirak" of February 2019 (peaceful public protest), and among the most important of these economic developments is the great trend towards to support and develop small and medium enterprises, accompanying emerging enterprises and encouraging them to grow and compete, and trying to attract young people to adopt the entrepreneurial ideology and establish such economic institutions because they are one of the radical solutions to reduce unemployment and enhance the economic development outside the hydrocarbon sector.

However, our research paper comes to shed light on the role of social responsibility of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in achieving sustainable development in order to ensure acceptance and continuity in the market.
