Abstract EN

This research aims to indicate the two terms- fear and sorrow- in the noble Quran.

And we choosed this subject in this context, because these two emotions are included in the two polars of human life; that is because he lives between the pains of past, the regret and the sadness about what happened in it.

And between the fear of future and what it hides, and that makes him live in instability.

And as known: that noble Quran aims to attain human's psychological health, and shapes a balanced personality in all it physical, mental, emotional, behavioral aspects.

We certainly say that Quran urges to have the positive emotions and get away from the negative emotions.

These emotions represent the human's sentimental part, so the Quran came with a precise description of them, and from this logic, this research was chosen to analyse these two terms ”fear and sorrow” through the Qur'anic context, using in this research: the Arabic linguistic heritage, psychological heritage, and how the Quran mentioned them.

In addition to displaying the Quran's depiction of fear and s grief, highlighting the purpose of combining them.
